Traditional: Tenant will fill out and process rental application in whatever method the landlord requires, this can be paper or electronic generally.

RentEasy: Tenant can download RentEasy app to apply for the property. Credit Score & Background Check will only be pulled once a year on RentEasy, so you can apply for many properties at once. Tenant can easily pay the application fee (if required) through RentEasy Payments.

Reviewing Tenants (Landlord)

Traditional: Check your dining room table for any applications that you haven't lost, contact a background & credit check provider to get copies of the reports and wait a bit.

RentEasy: Pre-approved tenants will be listed at the top, along with their credit score & background check results.
